Evaluation of drug action on HERG channel

hERG channel is involved in the repolarization of cardiac action potential, the function of hERG is weakened, the duration of ventricular action potential and QT interval of electrocardiogram are prolonged, and the risk of fatal ventricular arrhythmia is increased. In order to reduce the risk of preclinical study failure caused by QT prolongation of candidate drugs, it is very important to screen the activity of hERG channel in early stage and optimize the process of new drug development. The classical patch clamp technique is the gold standard to evaluate the effect of compounds on hERG channel. Our electrophysiological research platform provides high quality service for domestic and foreign customers to evaluate the effect of drug hERG channel.
