HCN Channels

Hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel is a non selective cation channel regulated by voltage and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). It is an important target for heart and central nervous system diseases.
HCN channels have four subtypes: HCN1, HCN2, HCN3 and HCN4. HCN2 and HCN4 channels are mainly involved in cardiac pacing. HCN channels may be involved in the mechanism of epilepsy and pain.
The stable expression cell lines of HCN1, HCN2, HCN3 and HCN4 have been established by Amazigh for corresponding drug screening services.
